I haven’t been on for awhile. I’ve been so depressed lately. The last few years I had issues with depression even before the TN hit and I don’t know why. The guilt kills me. I don’t know why I’m depressed. Everything in my life is awesome. I have so much to be thankful for so why the depression. I tried taking paxil 2 yrs. ago but it made me so sleepy so I stopped taking it. Lol, compared to the meds I’m taking now paxil was NOTHING. The TN is a little better. Like I said before I eat less and I drink everything from a straw. ( I got that tip from Dian, Thanks) I’m taking the bulk of my medication at night now, not on Dr. orders I need to do what works for me. I gave up trying to work on 600 MG of Neurontin every 4 hours. I can’t focus or remember important things I need to do. I don’t take any Neurotin until after work. I can still feel so much of it in my system the next morning and I can function so much better at work. The TN pain is about the same.

God Bless everyone here. Sasha

Wow. 600 mg of neurontin 4X a day. That\'s a lot of dizzy fuzzy thinking.

Hang in there Sasha. I\'m praying for you!

Oh Sasha,
Living with this TN is horrible. Even drinking froma straw hurts. I think the new med that the doc put me on is actually working. It may work for both your deprssion and TN. He put me on it for the TN but I have found that I was actually depressed to because I mentally feel great. It is called Cymbalta. You take it at night because it does make you sleepy. I do ot find that I am sleepy durring the day due to the Cymbalta though. It took about two weeks to a month to start working. After going though eight different meds I think this one might be the goldmine for me. I keep hoping. I still have TN twinges but so far they have been manageable. I can go out if I could only get the energy to do so.
Hope your TN stays down
Take Care
Mike...try that med if your not happy with the one your on now.

Sasha ~ So glad to hear from you ~ no wonder you are depressed! That is a load of meds to be on ~ too much for anybody to try to focus or even live a decent life. I hope you find something that works for you soon! I\'ve heard of Cymmbalta and heard it has really helped lots of people ~ maybe worth a try? I also went through a terrible depression, a year ago before this TN thing began. I found myself asking the same questions ... why me ... I have a good life, no reason to feel this way. I finally went to a psychologist; found out I was not just depressed but severely depressed. Thank God I found someone good and everything worked out. I learned things about myself that should have been so obvious, but somehow weren\'t. I think it also helpled she is a Christian doctor so I knew that her prayers were working right along side of the \"analysis\" part. I pray you find the strength to do what is best and right for you Sasha and soon. God\'s peace, Dian
