WOW, I had a pretty good weekend . I didn’t experience any dreadful pain. I love those days. I’m learning how to control the attacks. One thing I’ve cut way back on eating. I only eat soft foods. Losing weight is nice but I do miss the food. It’s not worth the pain. I eat only once a day. If I start feeling weak I eat some nuts. I drink a ton of coffee because the meds make me sleepy but it has to be lukewarm. Mentally I feel better since I’ve accepted this disorder . I recognize that more people on this site are way worse off than I am. So the pity party I’ve been on the last 5 months is over. Life is good. I would put up a GREEN HAPPY FACE but the emotions don’t work on my page. Every time I use them I get knocked off the site. God Bless you all.

E A T I N G. Yes. I\'ve lost 5 pounds in the last month because eating makes the pain so much worse but it took me two months to figure it out. My favorite foods are Hard and Crunchy and Chewy!!!! ...of course. But I\'m learning to like liquids. I\'m learning to enjoy soft bread, instead of crunchy or chewy Italian bread.

Really, you can handle a lot of coffee? We are all so different, but also much the same.

Thanks Sasha for your gentle letters to me.

I\'m praying for you.

(Give your darling Pom a hug from me.)

XO

So true! Before they could figure things out I couldn\'t stand to chew it hurt so bad and set the spasms of pain off. I was down to eating once a day and like you the softest food I could find. I\'ve found drinking with a straw really helps direct the fluid away from the side of my mouth that is so sensitive.
Don\'t be so hard on yourself ~ be gentle as He would. I pray His gentle love surrounds you and continues to bathe you in peace and pain free days. Dian
