Sorry
I just realized my last post was December. I'm sorry. You all are so kind to me and comforting. I'm not deliberately ignoring you. My copd has been getting worse and that makes it harder to travel and it makes me sad. I feel like I'm not a good Mother. My daughter needs me and I can't be there. I wish it was possible for me to stay with her but it isn't, sigh, so I have to settle for what time I can have with her. I wish life wasn't so complicated. I'm going to a grief meeting Thursday for people who have lost their spouse within the last 18 months. I hope I get some useful information out of it. my mind just seems to stay jumbled lately. I don't even know if this post is making sense. I wanted to thank everyone that sent me hugs and messages and for the prayers. I wish I could thank you each individually. You are all so kind even during your own grieving. That says a lot about you. Your wonderful caring people. Thank you again. I wish I could take everyone's pain away. I pray for you all and wish you all happiness. Until my next post. God bless and take care Linda

Linda:
You said you wish you could thank each of us individually. There is a way you can do that: Don\'t ever say that \"you\'re not a good mother\" ever again...
because that is patently impossible!
In my last message to you, I assured you that Debbie and Brownie are both inspired by your courage and touched by your love. Something occurred to me since I sent you that message...each and every one of us feels the same way about you too.
True heroes are the type of people who naturally shy away from being called \"hero\"; they say \"anyone else would have done the same thing\". But \"anyone-else\" didn\'t do it, they did it, and that\'s why they are the hero.
Forgive me Linda, but you absolutely are my hero...you\'re just stuck with it.
Linda: You are brave beyond belief and a wonderful mother and wife. Please, please never doubt that. I am so sorry that you are going through your daughter\'s illness as well as coping with Brownies death. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hugs,
Val
Dear Linda, you have nothing to be sorry for. If any of us could do more for you I am sure we would. You are a fantastic mom, so don\'t ever think you aren\'t. I am glad you posted I have been thinking of you. Hang in there kiddo, hugs and love, Michele
I have so been thinking of you lately. Do not be sorry as you can only do as much as you can possibly due, and that doesn\'t make you a bad mom. You have to take care of you too. Hugs. Katrina
Dear Linda, my heart goes out to you and Debbie. You both will be in my prayers. Your distress at not being by your daughters side is understandable. A few years ago I became very ill. My parents were 1000 miles away. They are both blind, in their 80\'s and their share of other health issues. My mom found a friend to fly with her to bring her to me. God bless mothers, God bless you Linda. My mom was not able to stay very long but the short time she was there was such a blessing and I appreciated her heroic efforts to be with me. I understood her having to leave and was just grateful for the time we had together. Debbie does sound like a very sweet person and you can be assured she was grateful for your presence and understands.
Linda, I applaud your initiative in going to the grief meeting. what a tremendous amount courage you have. I hope you find some comfort there. The grief workshops I went to did help me.
I want to second eighty8, you are a hero. Hero\'s often come in mommy packages and very softly touch but indelibly touch our lives. * HUGS*
