Good News!!

Ok, well it isn't my good news as such.... but it has made me over the moon this morning!  A friend from this forum just got her BFP. She has been the most supportive amazing presence on here and I am just so glad for her...granted, I don't know her from a bar of soap-and she could be sitting next to me right now and I wouldn't know -but she has shared so much on here, and I don't know...just knowing that somewhere out there right now is a lady who has been struggling for a while and has finally got her break is just really uplifting.
Onto other stuff...so I have been taking the nutritionists' advice and am limiting the exercise. She asked me the other day what exercise I really enjoy (my answer was all of it!) When I really thought about it...when I was training for triathlons, I loved the swimming training. Since giving up tris, I still run heaps and do at least two spin classes a week, but the thing I gave away completely was swimming. So today after trying to talk myself out of it several times, I decided to get back in the pool. Well, I was by no means fast and I got really tired in my warmup. However, I really enjoyed it...I got out of the pool, I felt really good about myself, and am still on a bit of a high from it all. On reflection, I realised that the reason I gave it away in the end was because when I moved away from my coach and had to do sets on my own, I was putting so much pressure on myself to train so much harder. With the 45 minute time limit my nutritionist has set, I found myself today really pushing through the workout trying to finish my set before time was up. For the first time in ages, I feel really proud of myself for doing this. So, from nowon, I have decided I will try and do at least 1 (hopefully 2) sets a week, perhaps even with the aim of joinging the local masters squad when I get a bit fitter in the water.
Ok, so it is only 9am in the morning over heere and I already have 2 of my three things....and am pretty sure I can fudge the third.
1. I am grateful for good news from a friend, which has inspired hope in this process.
2. I am grateful for my nutritionists advice, and finding out what it is I truly enjoy.
3. I am also really grateful for our close friends. At first, we didn't tell anyone of the struggles we were going through, but then after much discussion, we decided to tell a few people. Some of our friends have really surprised us in the insight, caring and compassion they have shown us that I never knew they had. (I am talking about my husband's blokey man friends here)
Alright, over and out! I have some serious cooking to do before we depart on our wonderful weekend away...am even going to have some champagne tonight to celebrate my good outlook!

I am hoping that all my DS girls can experience a BFP sooner than later. Seeing others on here conceive gives us hope that it CAN happen!
