Feeling better

Well this week I'm not feeling as down as last week.  I think I'm accepting the fact that I have been fired, I have no job, and really need to increase my job hunting.  The only thing is that I haven't been feeling real great.  I think I told you that I have breast cancer (in partial remission), Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Langerhan Cell Histiocytosis, and now I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease. So a lot of the time, I just want to sleep-that way I don't hurt. Hopefully the docs. will figure it all out sometime soon and can have treatments for these diseases that work.  I also talked to my sister in Michigan, and she told me she had just been diagnosed with cancer-they don't know what kind, but know that it's in her lungs and other places.  I will be so happy when something good will happen.Well, one thing good actually did happen. My son was married in February in Spain (that's where he lives) and he and his wife are here-she is jazz singer and piano player in Europe, and was here on Long Island to perform, and also in New York City. So I got to meet her for the first time, and last night my son took me to see her perform. What a talented girl. Anyway, while she is in the city, my son is staying here with me because he is working with one of his friends while he's here for extra money. So that was pretty cool.So now all I have to do is find a new job with benefits.  I really need medical because of my illnesses-I always am having scans and other tests, besides lots of meds. I just guess I have to keep my faith in God, and hope another door will open for me since that one closed. Well I hope every is well and happy.  Kathy
