Day 2

******TMI ALERT*******

OK so Day 2 almost down. I have been doing a lot of research about how the best and safest way to lose weight is. So I have found, I need over a gallon of water in my system to be properly hydrated. That even if you have exercised and cut calories, if  your not hydrated you wont lose any weight. EEKK. I don't know if I can drink that much water. I mean I have to and its going to be super hard.
I have also read that it doesn't matter how you consume your calories, (all in on meal or spread through out the day) as long as your are not starving. I am not a breakfast eater so as suggested, I will drink  cup of hot water and lemon in the morning to make my digestive system to start up.
That being said I still had my burger, with pickles lettuce, and a half a cup of pasta salad with peas and carrots, I hate peas but I gotta eat better.
I completed 6K out of my 10k goal. it was almost 3 miles. Its still pretty early so I may take the kids for a walk around the block and my fur babies too.
On that note, Lola baby is doing terrific, she has adjusted to her brother Pepper nicely, and my son has taken sole responsibility and ownership of her. She has been wormed, shotted, and antibioticed up and now she looks like a real doggie. lol. she is almost up to her perfect weight. I would say 2-3 more ounces would be good. you cant see her ribs any more or her spine, her hips are somewhat visible, but she is SOO much better looking. The hair on her back end is starting to grow out. She is actually not white as originally thought.  With her being taken care of she is starting to be a darker tan color. Also with her putting on weight, her ears don't look sooo ginormous. lol.
OK. I feel so much better today than I did yesterday. After the talk, my mind feels so much clearer.
I feel ok.

OK that wasn\'t the TMI part. But after drinking so much water I have not stopped going to the bathroom. not number 1 but number 2. and you know with FM comes IBS most of the time, and that is not the case. I went as soon as I finished eating like with in 5 minutes. Its different haven\'t concluded if its good or bad, but I definitely feel less bloated, and icky.

Sonya, please run this past your physician ASAP, okay? Reason being, that much water can flush out necessary electrolytes, and water needs vary wildly from one person to another. (Age, health conditions, etc.) While I advocate hydration, *over*hydration? Bad. Three to five liters a day is average for most people...

The only water-related diet method I\'ve heard of that is safe and works for all? Drink 8 ounces about 15-20 minutes before a meal. Sense of fullness and you also don\'t end up eating when you\'re actually thirsty. (Our brains have a weird way of mistaking the signals.) There\'s 3/4 of a quart right there, assuming three meals a day.

I don\'t like to lecture, but I\'ve seen .... bad stuff happen. Athletes who underhydrate and keel over, ones who overhydrate and have issues because their electorlytes are leached out.

I hope you take this as intended, with concern and support. Weight is tough on me since I got partially disabled. I keep in \"healthy BMI\", but sheesh! ....

Sonya, I know that I am dehydrated most of the time. When I drink more often. my bowels move better. Just don\'t overdo it. A local station ran a \'who can drink the most water\' contest. The woman who won after drinking one gallon of water died. I agree with Leo, not too much, not too little. BTW, drinking more (3 liters a day) helps me to lose weight. I try to make every bite count (nutritious) watch my portions, do some sort of exercise, drink enough water. I lost 35 pounds. Good luck!

Yeah, the dr, told me you need 8-10 8ounce glasses of water a day, and then add 8 ounces for every 10 lbs your over weight. Plus, I play soccer, so I sweat even more out. I\'m a sweater in general. It\'s annoying.

I only did about 4 bottles of water yesterday and today but I don\'t feel so sluggish. I\'m also going to start shooting 2oz of apple cider vinegar in the morning. Eegghhh, but hey its got good benefits.

That\'s a gallon over a 16 hour period. Not all at once. Obviously

I had lost about 130 lbs before I started feeling like @)*($ a couple of years ago. Slowly but surely I started hurting more and more...so I went to my drug of choice for comfort, FOOD! :-) So, moving less and eating more...not a great combo. I put back on about 40 lbs or so before realizing how bad it would be to put it all back on. Anyway..I just wanted you to know that I have went through what you are going through right now. Keep up the great work!
