I had to put my Mom in Assisted Living she is 90 - but I had her here with me for the week. Earlier got word that she was sent to the hospital again - if she stubs a toe she is sent off to the hospital. It is the law in these facilities - I have been going through this for the past six months - she has been in the hospital 9 times in 6 months - it is good and it is bad - Tonight I smashed a tail-light on a car while trying to park so I am a bit of a nervous wreck. I love my Mother very much and it is so very hard watching a vibrant intelligent women lose it. I can say her deteriorating has taken its toll on this family. I am feeling very emotional right now - this is what I hate about the season of christmas. Anyway she is safe and I will go see her tomorrow.

OH and I did not smoke today!

I AM sorry to hear about your Mother. Hopefully she is safe. I know it is hard to watch our parents and loved ones age. Just remember the long, full life they had and ask them to remember that. Talk about the good old days and enjoy each other. If your Mother is anything like you then she is a fighter and has a wonderful sense of humor. I am glad you have each other.

If you did not smoke today, after all that stress I am going to go out on a limb and say you have CONQUERED smoking. You will be nominated for the DS smoking addiction, poster child! Thanks for everything! BE WELL.
