I am feeling hopeful saw a website re: not using any kind of nicotine devices. I think I will stay with the patch. I would have never known this if it was not for the quitcoldturkey Joel Spetzer's advice. I hope he is a little wrong - feeling better on astma medication singular and nicotine patch. I did not smoke today.

Renee: I did use the patch before, and it worked great for me but I had to stop because I got an allergic reaction. Also, my coworker just stopped smoking - he\'s been on the patch for 6 weeks, and has been off the patch now for 5 days and is still not smoking, so it worked for him! You know what? Whatever it takes! Good for you!!!!!
Stick with the patch baby.
I did call in sick for the week at work - trying not to feel quilty about that - cause this means life or death to me. I don\'t know if I should take the patch off when I sleep very vivid dreams - many of them - actually they are nice - I am waking up - drinking lots of water. Drinking teas - I have had cravings today. BUT I DID NOT SMOKE TODAY!
Thursday - feel like crap - I lived in my head today set up the chairs and tables - planned on doing everything - the only thing I did was puke mucus - is this the detox from the cigarettes or the bronchitis and astma - boy it is really a day at a time. Going to rest now - I am glad I took the week off from work though - Hanging in there - did not smoke today.
Renee- You are smoke free today and you will be tomorrow, but lets get through today together first and then we\'ll tackle tomorrow. ok ? LOVE !
