on vacation at my daughter\'s house. No gambling since June 4th feeling good, but also continually realize that it is one day at a time. My oldest daughter is not aware that I was gambling again (well, perhaps she knows, but...) should I confess to her? It upsets her and just makes her hurt. Not sure what to do.
Great on your effort! If you dont feel not comfortable telling your daughter then you don\'t necessarily have to tell her. Why tell her when you know it will upset her. Sometimes it is best to unsaid then hurt someone\'s feeling.
You are doing well in your recovery! Keep strong and count those blessings one day at a time!
47 days gambling free! Did tell my daughter because she asked how I was doing financially; did I need help etc. So I told her I had a gambling problem (like she didn\'t know LOL) but no, I will handle my finances and am making payments on my debt which is from gambling. I have the option of letting her handle my money and will consider that seriously if I screw up. I am almost 73 and disabled, but still have a car and can drive. I have also considered giving up my car as I live in an assisted living facility that has transportation for doctors etc. Just hope I keep strong and continue my goal one day at a time.
Good job, WVmama. Keep up the good work. Stay occupied with good and helpful things. Participate in all the activities at the assisted living facility. You can do it!!!
