Trust
I have been thinking more, of course.
I am too trusting. I am naive, even at 54. And as my father told me, I have bedroom eyes. And I am gullible.
I got myself into a world of crap when I was about 21. I was dating an idiot (imagine that).
I was in college and living with my parents at that time. I decided to spend the night with that boy/man and did not come home, which was the rule, be home. When I showed up all of my belongings were on the curb. My Dad tossed me out. (My mother was out of town, thank the Lord). We had a bit of a throwdown but my father was right. I disrespected him and he worried over me.
I cannot ever make wise decisions about men.

I have: bedroom eyes, knobbly knees, dishwashers hands, tennis elbow, atheletes foot, a dowager hump....and, I make old man noises when I get up - ha!!!:)
Amy.nobody gets it perfect. I wouldn\'t beat yourself up too hard here - I could look back on my life and there are plenty of things I could have done better. But that\'s how we grow - by making mistakes and learning from them. If you don\'t ever learn from them, then that is stupid. But if you are trying to find the lesson, that means you\'re smart. Personally, I think we are all put on this earth to make mistakes and grow from them, otherwise how would we become better people? In the words of a Scottish mate of mine, \"Ye cannae change th\'past lassie, only the future\"
The king of the Australian Outback took the words right out of my mouth, Dear.
Thanks for the wisdom - as usual!
