Today

Sleeplessness is not good.  Last night was a mother of a night.

I am trying to look on the bright side but I cannot really find it, and it is no one else's job to deliver it.

As I consider moving and my furniture, all of which are antiques and some were built by ancestors 5 generations ago I get a panic attack.
I am quitting my job, decided they do not deserve me and they threw me under the bus this year.  I would rather live in a box on the street than work for them again.  Color me broke.

I had a weird memory hit me as I as surveying my furniture.  And it is a hard one.  I was sitting in my favorite rocking chair, which was my grandmothers.  I was trying to rock my baby girl to sleep and I was sort of dozing in and out, and something told me that I had to let her go.  It was like a voice from God or the universe or something.   I was afraid she was going to die.    Needless to say I kept her close to me.   I have been very over protective over her because of that.  She is now 22 and I still feel it.

You had a panic attack because you suddenly felt overwhelmed Amy, hope you don\'t quit your job before finding another one - no sense jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Best thing to do here is plan it out on paper, set some goals and then work backwards from the goal, planning out the steps and the details.

This is very sound advice and I am taking it into consideration, believe me.
I had a crap night last night and spent a chunk of today napping.
I know that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, jobwise. But I am up against it money wise.
Just spent the last hour searching for my cell phone. It was, and I kid you not, right under my arse. I searched the car, the places I normally leave it....and then it hit me that while I did not USE it last night I was outside till the fireworks freaked the dog out...and sure enough it had slipped under the cushion of my chair on the porch. I had a friend ringing it for me but I could not hear it since it was under my butt. I can be a dingbat.
