Confused

My husband of 33 years died this past April after a year long battle with stage 4 soft tissue sarcoma. I am a few years older than him and have no children. My parents passed away and I have no brothers or sisters. My husband has family near where we live , a sister and her husband, a mother, a brother and his family and a father. His sister is the one who has kept in touch with me and has supported me thru all of his sickness and since he died. His mother was a help before he died and visited a little after he died but we got in an argument and I havn't seen her since. i havn't seen his brother since the service 9 months ago and talked to him only  2 times and received a very nasty message from him a couple of months ago. I asked his mother to ask him about a couple of things my husband had asked him to sell for him and the reply was he sold one of the things and was keeping the other. He said my husband owed him money which I knew nothing about. He didn't say how much or for what. He left a message and told me that this was the last time he would tell me this(he only told me once before) about him being owed money.he told me that if I didn't stop he would contact his lawyer and have me served with harassment papers and he was using the F word every other word and at the end he said don't F'ing bother anybody anymore. Has anyone experienced this at all? There is nothing I can do about this but I wish there was. It seems like all my husbands friends and most of his family have deserted me and I feel very bad. As far as his brother is concerned I just don't understand and his mother defends him all of the time. Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Sounds like a screwy uncaring family...I\'d stay clear except maybe the sister...I\'d keep in touch with your friends or try to make some new ones...get involved with something, groups, volunteering, church and don\'t let these people poison your life
