It's been 2 weeks since my D&C. 2 weeks since that horrible day when I found out that my little one's heart was not beating. Today I also had my follow-up appt. with the Dr. and he said that I'm ok and that I can start trying again after 2 periods. I was so afraid when I was on my way to the Dr. wondering if he would tell me that there was a problem or if I had to wait around pregnant women for too long. I was also afraid of walking into the same room were I found out about the m/c. Thankfuly, it was not the case. Everything is fine with me and the women that were waiting outside were just there for routine exams. It was perfect. I feel so afraid to be around pregnant women because I don't know how I would react. I guess it's normal to feel this way since it's only been two weeks of my loss. I was also seen in a different exam room. What a relief...
Now...just looking forward to getting pregnant again. I hope these two months go by fast. I was hoping that I would be able to try after 1 period but I guess the Dr. knows better. I'll be patient and follow his instructions.

When I went for my pre-op visit before my d&c My dr. brought me in on a day that she was supposed to be closed. So there was no one else in the waiting room, which was a good thing. My dr. told me to wait 6 months before I try again so that the endometrial lining can regrow. Or something to that affect, but I have heard conflicting stories as to when you can try again. Ive heard 1 normal cycle, 2 normal cycles, 2 months, 3 months, and the list goes on.. But Im going by the 2 normal cycles which in the end did add up to 6 months. Just take your time. Take care and Im here for you
