If I had $50 for every person who has said 'you can call me if you want to talk'.... Maybe they mean it, but it always seems to come from the people who say the least when I first tell them. I think it's just something people say to get out of not knowing what to say. The very last thing I want is the burden of seeking someone out, explaining what I'm going through, trying to find words they can understand, trying to help the conversation along when they don't know how to respond, and worrying about their feelings when they get uncomfortable. I keep thinking that if they really cared, they would call me!! Do you know what I mean?

YES!!
I am always seeking someone out to talk about the pink elephant in the room.
It is getting old. They try to make it through but it is usually awkward and doesn\'t end up feeling that great in the end.
I am sick of worrying about others feelings when we are the ones that suffered a great loss.
I noticed people offer being there for you but that sometimes just means hanging out and not talking about the pink elephant.
I know, it\'s so awkward!! It\'s so not helpful to try talking when people aren\'t ready for that conversation. AAAarg!
I don\'t mean to sound like I\'m complaining all the time. I actually have found some people that are very helpful...and lots who aren\'t.....
