Yesterday was hot with temperatures reaching close to 100 degrees.  I tried working out in the yard but the heat got the best of me and Laura and I went to the movies instead.   Little did I know that I had placed my phone on the top of the car and as you probably have guessed the phone fell off and was hit by several cars before I realized it was gone. Needless to say I broke down in front of our friends and proclaimed that I was now living with a permanent target right in the middle of my forehead.  Now comes the reality check.
Two years ago I did the same thing with my I-pad but at that time I ran over it myself. There was not a curse on me then and there is not now.   The truth is that I am careless and needed that gentle reminder to get my act together.   I have also come to the understanding that it is time to stop feeling like a victim of circumstance but as a capable women who indeed can figure out endless seas of paperwork, change all billing to her name, and manage a home and life without a partner .
I continue to feel grateful for God’s blessings and am thankful for all the grace that has been given to me.   Friends continue to hold me close and your love still feels our home with your essence. I am making new friends and have found a joy in living that I had taken for granted.   To say that I don’t miss you would be a total falsehood. You are in my thoughts as you were when we first fell in love. I love you Michael Court and will continue to honor that love by living a full , rich and happy life. I promise I will always find kindness in people, joy in everyday living, and to give merit when merit is deserved.

I want to commend you for being able to see that things don\'t happen because you are targeted and are taking responsibility for your own part in things that happen. We all do things out of forgetfulness, this is very normal. You sound like you are taking steps forward and are keeping God in your home. I think our mindset, our ability to see reality and know that God never leaves us no matter how bad things get are essential in being able to move forward and out of the intense grief that we feel. Good for you! Little things like going to the movies is a big step forward. I have done that a couple of times myself. You are a good example for all of us in this horrible situation in which we find ourselves. Hugs, Norma
