Had a really good today. When I came home from work at 06:00 somebody had planted a beautiful rose bush in the flower bed. I started to cry not from sadness but from appreciation. The outpouring of love I have experienced has been amazing. Our friends have opened their hearts up to me completely. It is so nice not to feel sad all the time. I still have my moments and find myself crying for missing you. However, I now find myself smiling more and doing things that have purpose. The kids did well with Fathers day and I know they each said a silent prayer for you. Danner text and is finding it hard to turn thirty tomorrow. I had almost forgotten that she was born when you were just twenty. I told her I was ready for a grandson now. Me

Kymberly that is beautiful. I\'m so happy you sounded so upbeat in writing that and I\'m so glad your friends are loving you so openly. That is instrumental in your grief journey and in healing and finding yourself.
Your darling would be so proud.
Roses are my favorite I have beautiful pics of them all around the house but only one rosebush in the front of the house.
I pray yours blooms quickly and full.
Love
Cindy
That sounds so wonderful. I am so happy that you have loving family and friends. They are worth their weight in gold. Colleen
Kim, I\'m glad to hear that your doing quite well considering the time frame. It\'s great to have family and friends that go out of their way to support you isn\'t it. I\'ve also been fortunate that way. Without children of our own and Diane being the oldest in her family, we sort of wound up as being surrogate parents to Diane\'s brother and sisters. Through the years we\'ve helped them through some difficult times and now they help me because I think they feel at the same time they are helping Diane to. I try to tell them to appreciate what they have while they still have it. Life is short.
I hope you can keep up your spirit as you are now.
Best Regards, George

My strength is because of my husband. Michael loved life and felt that one day should not be waisted
I miss him more than I can say and I have many days that I cry all the way to work. Many times.i crying for joy because I feel so blessed to have known such great love. My faith in God is also getting me through this horrible time
I now am loving for both mole and I and I only want him to see joy and compassion through my eyes
I don\'t know what life had ahead of me but I know it will be sweet I hear Mike whisper those words in my ears daily
Kymberly your words to George express my thoughts (which I have been struggling to get in some sort of order) exactly. Thank you. Sandy

I am so glad my post helped you. Grief is something that we will never be able to avoid. Someday the majority of individuals will find themselves a widow or widower. I wish that Mike and I would have been able to grow past our middle years together, but it was not in Gods plans for either of us. It is my firm belief that we will all go on to live happy productive lives. The thought of living a life that is bathed in grief saddens my heart and I know that my sweet Michael would be very disappointed in my decision to do so.
