Good Evening!! Yesterday I had my surgery.My friend,Dave,took me.The nurse called me the night before and said I needed to be there at twelve thirty and surgery would be two hours later.Once I got there the guy at admitting had a note that said to send me to preop STAT.The dr had changed the order of his surgeries so I didn`t have to wait.Can`t beat that!! In preop the nurse got my vitals then sent the iv woman in.She said i have fat veins...no kidding everything i have is fat lol..anyway she put the needle in then pulled it part way out four times.Dave & I are looking at each other in disbelief when she announces your vein is a wiggler.She did apologise several times for hurting me but surprisingly it only hurt when she first put it in.Then we were waiting for them to come get me & I was putting on the stylish blue mesh cap.One of the guys that works there stops and points his finger at me and says young lady (At which point I knew I liked him) you are having way too much fun.He stayed and talked to us for a few minutes.My dr did his usual preop visit then outta the blue tells dave when surgery is over he has to take me out to dinner.(Yes I like him too lol) On my way to the or we went past the guy who told me I was having too much fun and he gave me the thumbs up.People who work there are very friendly which makes it a lot easier.My dr did the d&c and then  burned the walls of my uterus.It has a name but I can`t remember it.After surgery he told Dave it went well but isn`t sure it will work bc my uterus is larger then normal.If it doesn`t work then I will need a hysterectomy.My post op visit is the twenty sixth and I will find out more then.In recovery the nurse said I came in lol.Yup I bet I did *S* A nice snack of apple juice & a sandwich later and I got to go home.Last night I had a few small cramps but nothing bad.My dr gave me darvacets just in case but I haven`t needed any pain meds.Thank you all for your messages,hugs,prayers & get well wishes.I really appreciate them!!
