Update
I am standing at the sink to wash dishes, and in the bathroom totransfer to the toilet and to brush my teeth! I need and plan to keep working at it to get stronger. I need to be stronger to help my husband, get around and if I fall! Neither one of us is getting any younger!

If you are on Medicare you have the right to durable medical equipment such as canes scooters, rails on the walls in the bathroom, medical shoes etc. I recommend calling Medicare and asking how to purchase this with your Medicare. Their phone number is 1-800-633-4227
Thank you! I have grab bars installed in both bathrooms, a shower chair, a chair that sits over the toilet, and a walker and a wheelchairs! I have everything I think I need! Anything you can recommend?
Fell trying to get out of the car and into my wheelchair. Took my husband awhile to get me back into the car to try again.
