I have had MS for 20 years. I have a sister with MS and a brother who passed from complications of MS. I have good days and bad. I have a cane for short walks and a wheelchair for long hauls. Right now I am feeling okay.
I had optic neuritis in August and had Solu Medrol and Prednisone and went back to the eye surgeon today and can see well. I am so glad. It beats going blind!
I got a bad cold and mu husband and I have been passing it back and forth to each other for 2 weeks- finally feeling better. My plight doesn\'t compare to others and I am grateful for what I do have.
I have just been told my co-pay this year for my 3 months of rebif is $1150.00!! I used to pay $150.00. Can you say inflation. I am on disability and my husband is losing his job on 1/25/09 what am I going to do? Guess I won\'t medicate.
That is terrible! I thought if it happened to me, I\'d try LDN... My youngest brother had MS, and also died, but it was suicide. I am a late bloomer with it and it seems to be a rather mild case. I hope you can figure some exercise, etc,,
