I am so nervous and anxious about tomorrow. I have a phone interview with a judge for a hearing for help that I applied for. I was turned down the first time and I had to appeal my case. It's to have someone come into my house and help me with my housework and such for just a few hours a week. I am afraid to bathe or shower when I'm alone if there would be a chance of me having a seizure. And the scary thing is I don't know when they come on. Plus it's a little hard for me to do all of my housework. I tend to get dizzy at times which also scares me. I don't have transportation to and from anywhere. I just pray that I can get through tomorrow without getting sick to my stomach. I can hardly eat today just thinking about tomorrow.

How did things go with the interview? I hope the judge was understanding and not one that had the idea peope like us had to be at the end of our ropes as they say before help was qualified. I have been wondering lately about myself because walking is getting so difficult as well as my hand use and because of the epilepsy also the cognitive area...well thats getting worse. I just get so darn depressed Yes housework me too my husband finally hired maids after all these years but now I feel so helpless sitting there watching them clean my house!!
Before my hearing was over, the judge gave me a phone number to call to re-apply while I was awaiting my decision from her. I called when that hearing was over. The next day, I got a letter in the mail saying I was approved for long-term care and I would be getting another in-home assessment. The following day later, I got my decision from the judge turning me down. But what helped me when I re-applied was I had a care giver here with me to help me with my in-home assessment. I surrendered my driver\'s license and sold my car because it\'s scary to think that when I have an anxiety attack or seizure, I am not aware of when it\'s coming on. So I am approved. Don\'t know when it will start. I will get 26 hours a week of care.
