I barely have 24 hours to breathe a sigh of relief from my divorce hearing. The next day, my car starts acting up. I start freaking out and think it's the transmission, again, but a friend checked it out for me. He said it probably just needs a tune up. I started looking for a new car anyway. I need to know about buying a new car. I'm hoping my car lasts at least another year or two. That would give me more time to save more money for a car. In the meantime, my mom lets me use her car at night to go back and forth to my job. Besides that, everything else is good. I feel so free and sometimes I smile so much, my face actually hurts.

It sounds like you have teh car situation handled, so enjoy your freedom for sure! We just bought a car, and my advice is just do a lot of research! We did a ton of research and finally ended up getting a used rather than new car, but we feel great about it - it is exactly what we wanted. I hope the tune up helps!
