I'm so glad tomorrow's Friday. Today has been such a looonnnggg!!! day. I woke up with my period. Had no idea it was coming. I'm at that age now that my cycle is out of whack. I woke up with throbbing pain in my back and head. I just feel like someone beat the crap out of me while I slept last night. I was so tired and dragging all day. I stayed on the couch until I had to go to work. And I prayed to God to see me through the night. I made it. We are getting severely cold weather tonight. In the 20's! Doesn't happen too often here in Louisiana. A hard freeze. So in case anything happens and we don't or can't use water tomorrow, I took a good hot shower after I got home from work, and started some laundry. I mopped my floors. I also got some good news in the mail today. I had a mammogram this past Tuesday. The results came in today. Normal. Thank God!!! For the past 2 years, I've been stressed out about the lumps in my right breast. 2006, had the first one surgically removed. It was the size of an almond, but it was benign. 2007, found a small lump. Just a cyst, drained by needle. No pain  or swelling. The scary thing is both were found by me in the month of March, but I did not have the courage to say anything.  Because I knew once I told someone, I had to own it. And I lived in denial for months, not wanting to think I had cancer. But I know now, that was not the smartest way to handle it. I prayed and cried and finally got the nerve to tell my mom. I told her about the first one. The second one, I waited to tell her. She has enough on her plate to handle. But everything came out alright. I have so much to be grateful for these days, and I thank God for His gifts to me everyday. Well, it's getting late and I need some quality sleep. Goodnight all.
