Checking In...

Things have been busy for me lately. Summer semester just started on Monday and I am taking law office management and physical anthropology. It should be an interesting 8 weeks!
I am still trying to sell the house and get ready for the big move to Vegas. No bites yet on the house, which is a little discouraging since it has been on the market for 20 days (seems like a lot longer though). Houses in our neighborhood were selling like hotcakes in the weeks leading up to us listing it, so riddle me that one. I will feel better when this whole summer is behind us. We'll (hopefully) be done with our cycle, moved, and I will have found a job so that we can settle in to await a little bundle (or bundles ) of joy. I am sticking with saying "when" instead of "if", because I believe that whether you throw good stuff or bad stuff out into the universe, it will stick....and I need all the help from the cosmos that I can get.
I have been busy at work training the ladies (one makes me want to rip my hair out) that are taking over my tasks and getting my school work done. I don't get much time to peruse the internet and do my journaling and DS stalking like I normally do during working hours. Because I sit in front of a computer all day the last thing I want to do when I get home is to plop in front of the computer again.
My husband is still gone for training, and I am really starting to miss him. Which is normal since I am at about the halfway point of this trip. The first half (no matter the length of time he is gone), I enjoy having time to myself and making plans with friends without feeling like I am abandoning my husband. In the middle I usually have a little pity party- woes me moment (I keep it to an hour or two max). Then the last half I have really just started to get use to being alone and sleeping in the middle of the bed without feeling guilty. Which is usually right on  time for Shawn to come home and start driving me crazy again.
I am looking forward to him being home and us beginning our journey of expanding our family. I better get back to work, I've only got an hour left here.
Happy Friday Eve!
