Hi y'all - question/opinion....Dave dropped my son off from Scouts tonight and I was outside rinsing off the beach stuff when he showed up. Two of his kids were with him as well as my son. Dave got out of the truck with my son and he came up to me and it looked like he wanted to kiss me - and I think he could feel my apprehension. I'm not saying he was going planning on "sucking face"....just talking a peck on the lips. Do you think that would be bad to do in front of the kids? I don't think it's right - but why is it wrong? I don't know. I mean the kids know we're seeing each other - so why must I feel the need to hide it from them?
What are you thoughts, do you think it's right or wrong that you show signs of affection...i.e. a kiss...in front of each others kids? Any insight is greatly appreciated. I know, I'm a dork LOL....but would really love it if you could share your thoughts. Thanks xoxo

If the kids know your seeing each other than I don\'t think it\'s wrong for you guys to show affection. ((((((HUGS)))))) maggiexoxoxoxox
not yet, we cant assume they would have that same adult rational.
Be careful...
Look there is NOTHING wrong with showing mutual signs of affection in front of the kids. You\'re talking about a little hello kiss - not sucking face. Glad things are going so well for you. Rita
Dearest Dork: lol
I\'m sure the kids knwo what\'s going on, but if you\'re apprehensive about it, try just hugging for now in front of the kids, or holding hands. Maybe let them get used to the idea first. I\'m sure they know you\'re getting closer and that you have shared kisses, but you know kids..they think that\'s GROSS! lol

i think you should follow your heart and if you don\'t want to, don\'t. I don\'t think the kids will be effected much, either way. Good luck, love - john
I think a kiss would have been good for your son to see. Let him see that how good it is for a man to show affection to someone he loves. Never too soon to start teaching him that its a GOOD thing to show genuine affection. Love, Kim
Only you know your kids; if you feel it isn\'t right just yet, then maybe it isn\'t. But healthy affection, not hedonistic pawing, isn\'t a bad thing, although there is a time and a place for both, wink-wink.
I believe it\'s fine now. They all know you are seeing each other and like each other. I would think they\'d more be wondering \"WHY YOU DONT KISS\"! At their ages, they must think it may be odd, that two newly dating people dont even kiss hello or goodbye when they see each other real briefly like that! And just knowing that your kids have watched you be alone and sad for so long, they may NEED to see that a peck, or a little affection is ok and normal. They may need to see that their mother is capable of loving and being loved with affection included. I really think it\'s time, and a healthy time at that! I love u!!! Nichole
that is 4 u 2 decide, but i agree with misschels. luv ya
