Well....I have to say I had a really good time :) Ended up going to his place for dinner - it was delish. His son was there as well - for dinner anyways. It was "awkward". His son is 15 and he's a good kid. My son and his hang out. Sat outside and enjoyed the day. He has alot of mature maple trees in the back yard - so the shade and breeze was wonderful. It was nice to be out. I walked over to his house - thought it might do me good - and give myself a pep talk lol....Well after dinner his son went over to the neighbors for a swim - and we headed out and had a couple of beers at the local watering hole and talked and laughed - it was fun - he's a super nice guy. Total gentleman. It's weird - I'm not use to that. Anyways - he told me that he's been "intrigued" by me for quite some time. And that he was nervous about even asking me out - it was big for him....funny how I was the anxious Nelly - and still am....Things went really well...he made me feel really good. He called me this morning - and he's probably coming over around 4'ish - the picnic is at 6. Looking forward to it.....It's nice to have something to look forward to. It's been a long time since I've felt that....kind of forgot what it was like. Anyways, I hope the rest of you are enjoying the weekend. I won't be on very much - taking advantage of being kid free :) xoxo
