I've been sitting here absorbing what has transpired today on DS and discovering a bit about me. My eyes have welled up a few times thinking about the discovery of myself. It makes me feel happy, yet afraid of what I'm releasing from within me. There are things in my life that I have shut out. It's always been easier to dealwith it that way than bringing them into my direct mind.
I see my therapist tomorrow. I haven't been in 2 weeks. So much has happened since the last time I was there. It was my initial visit of getting to know you. I don't even know where I want to begin and delve into about myself tomorrow. I've learned so much about myself during that time. I have to say this site has helped me tremendously. I NEVER journaled before, and find it to be so beneficial. I never knew I was capable of it. It's like the flood gates have opened and the water is flowing free.
