Tonight I'm feeling really happy because I got to meet a really old family friend, a girl (now a woman) who was my childhood role model and idol.  I hadn't seen her in nearly 20 years.  We had a wonderful visit and it sounds like we'll be meeting again in the future.  I had wanted to get back in touch with her for years but had never been able to find her until just recently. Other than that things are going on as usual.  I'm still procrastinating applications for my teaching jobs.  Self sabotage I think, which is really ridiculous.
