IEP meeting I really do not know if we accomplished much at the meeting. I went in there all prepared to be sending my son to a partial program only to find out that the case manager does not think its the best option when yesterday she thought it was. My son has missed 38 days of school. There are sitting there saying now you are going to commit to come to school on Monday right. I am like we have done this with the therapist many times with the teach and the princpal. He says yes and then does not come. Apparently, he needs to have more help. I am so tired of banging my head against a wall. I literally have a headache. If this is not working then we need to do something else. They are like you need to check his homework journal regardless of if he says he has it done or not. I do check it then he gets upset because he thinks he did it but I dont see it done so I say you have to do it over again. This exactly what they are telling me to do. Maybe I should not do anything at all and then wait for them to tell me what to do, because nobody is telling me to do anything different then what I am already doing. Grrrrrrrrrr I am not in a good mood right now I am just so tired of trying so hard and not getting anywhere.

You surely are in a tough spot. As a mom you are doing everything you can. At my daughter\'s IEP meetings the teachers were all present and so was my daughter and they always asked HER what was going on. You seem to be forced to take the blame for what your son doesn\'t do. Aren\'t they supposed to be helping him with this?
Ya kno I go thru the same thing contantly! You are nt alone! It is frustrating.I\'ve gotten to where I just say I did and show them the progress reports. I mean u really can\'t do much more for them.I guess they have hit to a rock bottom..failing the grade.Keep your chin up. You are a GOOD Mom!
