Well guess what.  His father did not show up.  Atleast he called this time to say he did not feel good.  The poor baby.  You all know that I have not been feeling well.  Yet I still make it to see my darling son.  I don't get it.  I know I am nothing special so if I can do it why can't he.  Does he think that there is an excuse short of bleeding to death not to see his son. Are my expections to high?  I worry that I have raised the bar too high for my son to understand that this is how some fathers are. When he sees me making sacrifices. I just think that is what a parent is to do right? The visit started out that he wanted me to leave in 30 minutes I think it was because we were in the kitchen with the other kids and the girl he likes.  When we went to his room he seemed to ease up.  I guess mom embarasses him.  LOL I stayed almost the whole time.He finally asked me a question that I was glad he could be so open to me about.  He told me that the girl was yelling at him and he was the only one she did it to and that he wondered why she does.  so, I reminded him that the staff told him she was moody.  I also explained that you know how you usually just yell at me because you are so close to me. He says so she likes me more?  (LOL) I said maybe.  I explained that maybe she is doing it because she knows that you both are leaving soon and she does not know how to deal with it so she is coming of angry.Ahhh I am so happy that he actually asked me a personal question.  I have always tried to have open communication with him, but it has not gone too well in the past few months.  This I look at as a break through. Now here is the other side I also know that the reason he asked me is because it was so important to him,  I fear that no matter what answer I give him or anybody else that he will get hurt and set him back.  I know am confusing I have just always been able to look at both sides of everything.  Now that I have I just going to focus on the breakthrough that he could open up to me.

You gave him a perfect answer... it reminded me of how middle school boys will often do annoying things to the girl they like, just for attention, but then, I read what you said about maybe she cant cope with the leaving, so shes bracing herself by getting angry, or that she only feeling safe enough with him to express it to.

Thank you I need to hear I am a good mom. Sometimes I feel like people turn me out. That they think I am making a pick deal out of nothing, but I know for example my friend\'s daughter who is bipolar broke up with her boyfriend and she had a relapse after being staple for 2 years.

He told me today that she left. I asked if he missed her he said yes but he did know why because she was being an idiot. I explained again. He kept saying no no no Another words he thinks its him. I know teenager\'s go through this but he has enough to deal with his father\'s rejection and excuses.
He sounds ok though. I am glad they did not leave on the same day I think even a day apart is easier for the transition.
