Well just talked to my son he is not happy with me. He thinks I can take him out of the hospital. He is not understanding that with the medicine they put him on the have to watch his blood levels. He was saying last night that you did not even give the other medicine a chance. Man he is so smart. He was only on respidal for 2 weeks but they put him on depakote because his Uncle is on it for the samething. He said he did not eat breakfast which sometimes happens but very rarely. I know he will eat later and that this is most likely manipulation on his part to make me feel guilty. Do I? YOu bet ya I do. But I will stand strong as a Mother does. Happy times Happy times are just around the corner. right? Man I cant wait. I did test my sugar. OUCH I know its not good Took my medicine like a good little girl. or BIG girl in my case just look at my weight there is nothing little about me. LOL I have been in a lot of pain with the fibro. I went a couple of weeks ago and bought those walk fits for my shoes because I noticed I was walking on the outside of my right foot. They really are not very comfortable at first. Of course I have been having a lot pain in the bottom of my feet anyway. It seems though I have gotten use to them. I have noticed that my back does not hurt as much as it did. Well later I have a session with my son's therapist. Hopefully he will be happy to see me The hospital is near my sister's house the one that does not talk to anyone. My niece who is almost 13 talks to all of us. So we try to talk and spend time with her whenever we can and whenever her parents allow it. So, anyway I am planning to take my other sister down a littler early so we can meet up with her somewhere to see her. My niece is so funny she is like just tell my aunt not to embarrass me and she is like you either I am like I embarrass you she is like yes she is like you can hug me but no kisses. HMMMM where is my RED lipstick You know Im doing it. We do give her lots of affection because we dont see her often and we know that she does not get anything at home. There are times when I see her just shutting down. It is such a shame because she is such a sweet k

Your son has to understand that he has to wait till the doctor says he can go home. It\'s not mom\'s call here. It\'s hard when our kids think we want something that they are oppossed to, but all the right things are being done here, he\'s just being a kid.
Sorry about your fibro pain. People don\'t get how nasty it is, do they? Hope you find some relief.
Glad you are back on here. Thanks for commenting on my journals. It\'s always appreciated. xoxoxoxo
My son was on depakote...as was I...it is primarily an anti-seizure med, but has properties that help with anger. Ryan has to have blood work done regularly to make sure anti-seizure meds don\'t hurt his liver.
Ryan was very angry with me when he was hospitalized too. He did the guilt trips, threatened suicide, just shut down, but he came out of it after a few days...slowly, but still.
I\'m glad you have your meds and are taking them...it sucks, but, you need your strength. I hope the prozac helps too...didn\'t do anything for me, but it took close to a dozen anti-depressants till we found one that worked...now just have to find a way to afford it.
My feet have been giving me fits the past few months...I limp constantly, favoring which ever is worse...aren\'t we just tons-O-fun! Ya know what\'s truly sad? When the elderly, parked in the disabled spaces, pass you going into the store!!!! Yes, to date, I\'m too stubborn to get disabled plates.
Your mom sounds like my son...he just goes & goes...he talks to his video games, talks non-stop to me about them...so, I can imagine, although Ryan takes breaks. My brother won\'t have anything to do with my mom...I knew I would be the only one to do what was right, after all she is my mom...She is like a 5 year old, bickering with Ryan, creating havoc constantly. I have to divide bananas, etc!...yes, she will throw a temper tantrum if Ryan gets more...so, I feel for your situation...I barely spoke to my mom for years...trying to keep my sanity...lost it when I let her move in...can ya tell?...lol.
Hope things get better w/your son each day...I know they will, you are his mom after all and you are going a great job!
