I just learned today that my cyst has grown since my last MRI. The doctor told me we would measure it again in 3 months, and if it continues to grow, we will need to remove it. He has repeated warned me that another neurosurgery will most likely disable me. I am scared. I don't want to lose myself to this thing.

Right now I\'m living my life 90 days at a time, just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now I\'m waiting to go back to the NS in September for him to tell me if my cyst has grown some more. He\'s warned me that surgery would be extremely dangerous with my history, so I\'m hoping to buy more time. In the meantime, I\'m looking into alternatives like endoscopic surgery that would be less damaging. I\'m also going to Vegas! It took some arm-twisting, but I finally convinced my husband that I needed to go somewhere and live it up a little before going back to the NS in Sept. I think we\'ll have a blast.
