I operated camera on a music video Sunday with a big crew.  Wonderful experience!  They were a 4-person crew and had every conceivable lighting and camera-related accesory, so it was easy for me to work my magic.  We had some down-time, and took some breaks.  It was very much a party atmosphere, so I had a couple too many drinks and flirted with a lot of the ladies.  One, Amber, seemed to dig the lust in my eyes and heart looking at her beautiful, thin body in that scanty bikini, but when we talked, there wasn't much going on between us intellectually or emotionally (she's a model, for God's sake, and its her business to be into her and others' physical beauty, so there's not much else going on behind the ears or in the heart, or maybe I didn't ask the right questions; I'm a behind-the-scenes, geeky-albeit-physical artist).  I gave her my phone # but I don't expect to hear from her.  Had fun, but it's funny how I can laugh and party with people and still feel lonely in my heart.  Everybody's so afraid of getting hurt that they put up spiritual walls.  It's tough for the ladies, because, unless they're supermodel stick-thin, it's very tough to visually stimulate guys.  It's tough for the guys, because women know we're dogs who want "sex first", so we have to create an atmosphere of comfort where we don't care if we get laid or not, even if that may not be the case (sigh)... Gonna rent some movies tonight and enjoy some laughs and tears.  Seeya folks!
