This tragedy with my brother dying of cancer has made me realize that my love in life (outside of people) is filmmaking. Filmmaking got me through some really tough times as a kid when other kids picked on me in school, and now it's getting me through the grief of dealing with my brother's early demise. Filmmaking gets me involved in a harmonious situation with others, collaborating toward the same vision for a story with characters. Life is short, and I'm seriously considerating dumping some money and a few weeks of my time in one of those New York Film Academy hands-on film training workshops this year. Even though I'm a veteran where it comes to the technical stuff, one can never know everything about everything when it comes to storytelling, and collaborating with other people who are equally if not more passionate and talented as I am will elevate my spirits and my game. Plus, the connections I make will no doubt only help my own career and financial future. Be well, folks!

I agree - life is short, and you can always learn something knew. Go for it!
Er...new - I can spell.
Thanks for the kind comment.
I don\'t care about your spelling. I know what you meant (did I spell meant correctly?).
Mint? Hmmm... hey speaking of movies, making movies...did you watch the Spoofs of Discovery last night? People sent in little funny shorts about various Discovery channel shows - some of them were quite good. You can go to the website and watch them again, plus some more that didn\'t win.
No, I didn\'t see that! Sounds really funny! I\'ll go to their website. Thanks!
I like the SurvivorMan TV exec parody the most.
