Day 10

So, there's a lot of different stuff going on with me lately. I have come to the realization that I have the eating disorder called binge eating. I do it ALL the time. I will say that now that I know there actually is an illness for it, and it's not just the "lack of willpower" like everyone tells me, I'm going to try to fix it, or at least learn to control it. I have printed out a bunch of different literatures and looked up different techniques for help.
Going on to the real update though, my weight loss. Yes, as I've said it's more than just a struggle, my husband and son don't need to do it, so they are eating whatever and whenever they want, and it's soo hard for me not to eat ice cream with them or have nacho night for dinner anymore. Or at least not right now. I have a lot of work to do.
As far as my first ten days goes, it's going okay. Still a lot of improvement needed, but it's a work in progress.  I have taken my Thrive supplements everyday which gives me the energy and the mental clarity I need to try to focus on getting healthy.
As far as my eating habits, I've calmed down on the just walking to fridge and eat while standing there, and I've tried incorporating more vegetables into my family's dinners.
I haven't actually decided on a weight loss plan though, I wanted to get on track with the Thrive routine before I throw it all at me at once, but I'm lookin more towards the low carb technique. It doesn't give me too much freedom to where I can still "eat what I want," but it still gives me enough options to not get bored with the same food ideas.
Anyways, back to my actual update, sorry I get off track a bit. It's been ten days of just calming down on the eating every time I go in the kitchen, I cut pop out of my diet altogether, I've had two cans of diet root beer in my ten days time, drank at least 64 oz of water a day, most days 80-100 oz. I've also done the Thrive regimen everyday. Next week I hope to really kick in with the low carb technique I've decided on.
Now the best news, in these first ten days, I have lost a total of four pounds. And I know that when I really get into eating even better, and starting to incorporate more exercise I will lose even more! :)
Started at 399.4 and down to 395.4!
**Goal this week**
-My work has four floors, and stairs and an elevator. I'm 24 years old and I can't take the stairs, I always take the elevator when delivering receipts. My goal is to take the stairs this week, even if it's just one floor. :-)
