Survived the gum graft...this one definitely did not go like clockwork, as the 1st one did...2 total weeks of swelling/burning/stinging pain fr. the donor site sutures + the dissolving ones took 4ever to "fade"...had to go in and make the dr. remove the donor site sutures, as the knots were so tight and large, that they were tearing up the inside of my mouth.  I had fever, bleeding, nausea and looked like I'd been hit in the face, fr. the inside-out!  I couldn't even blow my nose.  Folks, that's not how this is supposed to go... He did say that he was sorry that I was in such pain, but no apologies for getting the sutures too tight...he was also panicking that I used hydrogen peroxide on the infected areas, as he didn't want the graft site to "dry out"...Mom is always right!  I went w/the peroxide, anyway...could not have made it to the appt. w/o it!  And, the graft site is just fine!  Got some antibiotics out of the deal, anyway...final follow-up is Thursday... How sad.  I would've recommended this guy to anyone, before!  I think he overstacked his appts. and got into too much of a hurry when he started working on me...I won't be going back to him, or going through this anytime soon, for a long while...
