Everything feels flatlined, today...I am back to digging up my old junk mail, for recyling...everything is in such disorder, back here in the back of the house. Mom continues to try to recover from everything....but, she has a failed, blank look in her eyes, sometimes...I keep wishing/praying/hoping for something outside the family circle to breathe some happiness into her life...I find I'm still trying to help her w/that, but I feel flatlined, myself, emotionally....either that, or so p.o.ed that I still don't have work...I try very hard to hide all of those frustrations, but Mom's no fool, I know....trouble is, how do you "hide" those bad vibes, successfully G.M. has been faily well behaved, since she came up here, but is now starting to complain TO MY MOM (naturally, not my dad, her own son) about the apartment: how come my mom couldn't find anything w/an elevator; do people have to walk by, outside of her deck, during the day; why is it so cold, here?; I want a pet; I don't want a cat that will mess up the apartment....It's been more than twenty years since she met my mom, last...nothing about how is my mom feeling, etc.Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my dad goes around like the weight of the world is on his back, soley...I just love it....Gag--sometimes, I'm sorry I know all of these things...

You are okay, sweetheart. Keep talking. Sometimes the heart is tired and it just goes numb; that\'s where you are right now: numb. Dont apologize for it; just walk the valley and trust there will be light at some point.
I journaled and my heart is tired, too. We\'ll talk soon,
Jessica
