update
I took a flip on the ice earlier and I hit my ribs pretty hard. I think I might have cracked one and I'm wondering how that will affect my running later.
It was so cold outside, I didn't feel it at the time, all I felt was numbness. Plus, I had taken ibprofen earlier for leg pain where I burnt it so I didn't feel the pain in my ribs right away. It hurts to breathe.
I think it's just bruised anyway. There was some snow and ice behind bf's car where he use to have it parked and I tripped over that.
My neighbor lost her dog's. She came to my house crying. Asked for permission to look around my house for them and I said yes plus I even helped look. The two dogs escaped from their leash, bolted and one was hit by a truck in front of my house by an oil truck, and she didn't suffer, may she rest in peace. The kids and the mom were devastated and I felt so bad for them. The other one is still missing. Her name is Addy so we need prayers for her please. My feeling is that someone picked her up in a car because we looked everywhere for her.
That's all the news for today. I have coffee in the pot, going to drink a cup, do some more work and later go for my run. I have 4 orders to package, wood to list that just came in today so I will be pretty busy!

Hope your ribs won\'t hurt for long. I said a prayer about the dog to St.Anthony. He is the Saint of lost things. Hope they find her!

Take it easy these next few days too. Really try to observe your pain level and breathing patterns.. .you dont want to find out about internal bleeding too late!
Bob: Please take a break from running while you heal from your fall. A rib injury really hurts and you don\'t want to do any more damage. Without x-rays, you don\'t know what happened. Also, how about some Neosporin on the burn. I\'m worried about infection.

take it easy - your ribs maybe cracked, even if they are bruised it can be painful. I am sending positive energy for Addy to be found - I\'m a total animal lover and would hate to think of one outside in the cold.

Coreen, I think I will take today off. I ran yesterday and it was somewhat hard to breathe without pain.

Take care of you. I am sorry about the dog, no matter how it happened or how quick, the dog will be missed terribly I am sure. It is sad when one loses a pet, and experiencing the loss can be hard on a person no matter how fast or how slow. Hugs and that fall, you have to be in good shape as we age, falls can do a lot of damage.
