Today I got up, looked out the back door and saw 6 inches of snow on the ground. So I made my coffee, grabbed a cup, went to the shed and started up the old snowblower. I didn't expect to have snow this soon. I was planning on changing the oil in the snow blower like I do at the beginning of every winter but I just hadn't got to it yet.....like everything else!
Nothing seems to be selling on ebay but I am having some luck selling basswood on amazon. That is the only thing keeping me going at the moment. Someone local is interested in my ash and birch to make come cutting boards, to give away as Christmas presents. They are coming over friday to look which means I will have to dig them out of the snow. I was kinda hoping I could sell the whole pile before the snow came but maybe it will all be melted by then. The snow changed to rain, making the roads very slippery so I didn't go very far today.
I did manage 2 miles in the afternoon but it was one of those days in which I felt sore all over and had trouble putting one foot in front of the other. Needless to say, I didn't break and speed records today!
I just keep going, thats all I can do. Ex announced she is marrying her lover. I am happy for her.

I hope the rain washes all that snow away so you don\'t have to clear out for the wood - sounds like you need a break.
Yuck... I hate snow. I really do. I don\'t have a snow blower, so I have to rely on the charity of friends with a plow and my trusty shovel. Today here in RI it\'s almost 50 and raining. I hope the whole winter stays like that! Good luck with your snow and your wood sales. Cutting boards, are a great idea!

It\'s in the 40\'s here in the Gold Country (No. CA Sierra foothills) and rainy, so we\'ll have snow tonight and I can hardly wait! Course, I won\'t have to go out and plow it, either, but it sure will be fun watching it through the night. I\'m always awake, anyway. Whoo Hooo! ~ Karen
