It's been in the 90's these last few days so working outside has been rough on me.
There is an old saying, "you have to be a lizard to live in a maine summer, and a polar bear to live in a Maine winter!"
So true.
Work has slowed alot, don't know what's going on. Mid summer lull I guess. Sure could use some prayers. I would love to be buried in work right now.
Seems like alot of people have left ds. Getting kinda lonely around here. It sucks losing meebo. Surely there are other chat options available. Don't understand the powers that be.
When I first came here we had an audio video chat. It was nice being able to match the words with a face. Then they dumped that in favor of meebo.
I try to keep busy. Thats the only way I can feel like I accomplished something and feel ok about myself.
Today I painted the building over my outside oil tank. It was hard and it was hot but I was glad to get it done, even though I will have to do it again. We just had a sudden thunderstorm that washed all the paint off.....oh well!
Thats what life is, I guess. Win some, lose some.

Hi Bob....... I find trying to read, send hugs, just navigate ds is hard work.
so sorry about the rain and the paint.... we had a hail storm that took out a small tree, broke some things,,, nasty weather!!! big ((hugs)) to you,,, I also miss chat.... love ya!!
Miss you Bob-bloody DS. Its like our whole community has been gutted. I have met up with some friends on Facebook but its not the same when you cant meet new people easily, and chat and move around the site at the same time. The slowness doesnt help.

It\'s raining here today. I can barely see the fence to the back field. I can\'t mow, I\'ve replanted my garden. It\'s not hot here in the not so sunny South.
It is hard to get around DS right now and takes up so much time. I have the time now. There will be no work on this farm today.
I know trish and I wish ds would put more effort into fising their problems. Sometimes I think I have a dial up connection but its only slow on ds. Thanks dear.
