I spent a good part of the day working on my yearly taxes, ugghh! I hate doing them! I quit when my eyes got tired. Tomorrow is another day.
I had a pretty good week selling which was good. I got caught up on a few bills but still have more to pay. Not behind yet but getting close. By the time these are paid, next months will be do, ugghh! It's a vicious cycle! Money is tight lately and it seems that no matter how hard I work, it's never enough. Although I have the basic things I need, there are still some things I want. Not saying what they are right now but I will at some future date.
I am tired both mentally and physically. One of my neighbors kids came to visit me but I was to busy to entertain hum so told him to come back another day. I felt bad because he looked a little lonely.
I think I will attempt a 2 mile run. I should be able to make it even though I am pretty tired. I'll just go slow.

Maine must be pretty with snow. It looks like New England will get more this week. I have been in with the Flu since last Wednesday. Do not go near anyone who looks feverish, coughs or is congested - it lasts for 10 days.

It is hard to be single again ha? I remember when I was used to Randy being here for me all the time. Then he suddenly goes with the Ambulance and he is gone, and I have not seen him in over a year. We do talk though. I am sure it is hard to do everything on your taxes alone. and bringing in the cash for the bills. My heart goes out to you. Can you apply for Social Security?

My taxes are waiting to be mailed. I\'ve had something more important that needs to be tended to.
Since the ex chose to quit paying me my money is running a bit short. I\'ve cut out everything that\'s not an absolute necessity. The bills are paid on time. Enjoy your run and it must be pretty with the snow on the ground.

My father was a tax man, yet I send mine out to be prepared. I hate to deal with the expense,and must budget for it ($300) but I do because they are such a hassle and I do not understand anything about them. I feel for you tackling your own taxes. Especiallyif you itemize. It\'s all very confusing to me so I commend your abilities. It really burns me that the developer of Facebook is paying nothing in taxes! To be rich and not pay taxes is a sin. This country is supported by the little guy.
I also understand your vicious cycle description about bills, bills, bills. It seems like you can never catch up, no matter how much money you make. The more you make, the more you spend, the more your bills are.

Our weather is trying to pretend it is Spring with one day of rain/cold and then next day sunny and mild. But we will take it.

Coreen, yes it is probably pretty to an outsider but as we get older, we like it less and less. I remember when I was a kid, I couldn\'t wait for the first snowfall.
Brendy, I will be ok. I have accepted that part of life that only through hard work comes self sufficiency.
Trisha, I have already cut out things to save money like my tv for example. It was costing me $80 per month just to watch the sport channels. Not really worth it anyway. I tend to splerge on food once in awhile for me and little dog.

ICH I use turbo tax online. Its a big help now that I am use to it.
Bubbles, We cope with the snow. They do a good job of getting the roads clear and that cuts down on accidents. Makes us appreciate spring all the more.

I dropped my direct TV the last time I had to take the ex back to court. The only things I can cut out now is Sunday papers, limit my grocery purchases and keep my truck parked as much as possible. I think we are all doing what we can to hold down expenses.
KR its fairly warm here today, funny weather. Rained last night and changed to snow but now the sun is out.
Trish same things I am doing. I borrow the daily newspaper when my sister in law gets done reading hers. I turn the thermastat back as well. 65 inside the house is comfortable enough for me unless I take a shower. Then I have to turn it up a little until I get dressed. hugs
