Getting better
Remenber that song on the Beatle's Sargeant Pepper album? It's Getting Better everyday? I think I have begun to look at things differently. Thanking God that I have all I need to live a comfortable life right now and not looking so far ahead. Maybe that's a mistake to some, ie not planning for my future but in a sense I do with the idea that I am flexible and able to change if need be. I have all I need and the way things have been going, I don't fear that will change.
Somebody asked me why I didn't work harder, make more money, and buy a bigger better house or car and I said, I have what I need and that's all I want.
I have been doing some running lately. That is my time for prayer and meditation. Makes me feel better, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The pain I feel in my back is of little significance to me during that time.
Business hasn't been very good for the last 3 weeks but that is ok. It will get better.
I am happy! Life is good!

I am happy to hear you are optimistic! I don\'t know who told you to strive for better, but forget about them. If you\'re happy with where you are, that\'s all that matters! Some people say it\'s best to live day to day, because you never know if you have tomorrow. :)

Great positive journal. What more is there than being happy? What feels right for on person does always feel right for someone else!
OPPS Correction....What feels right for one person does NOT always feel right for someone else.

In my book, I think you have the right attitude, the kind of attitude God wants us to have. Since when did having more and bigger and better make anyone happier? From what I have seen with people it just makes them more discontent with life, and want even more.
I like you am finding a real contentment with my life as it is, and it feels so good to feel this way for a change.

Some people work and work and work to get more and bigger.Its not good if you are never satisfied.Then all you do is work to require more and never really enjoy the simple things in life.The simple things can be the most rewarding.

I love that Beatles song too. Glad you are feeling so happy. Keep it simple is the way to go.
