update

I am extremely touched by the responses I get to my journals. I really do believe that God has brought each of you into my life to help me see things that my eyes or my mind cannot see.  It means alot to me!

One thing that I found I have to guard against is some of the self destructive emotions I had become accustomed to from the past.
This morning I was feeling sorry for myself because I didn't have some of the things I wanted. (I don't want to say what they are in this public forum but will gladly tell anyone who wants to know in a pm)
But I looked at my life, the way it is and I realized, I had everything I needed.  I always seem to get what I need.  But I have to continue to allow God to stay in control. When I take that control back, I run into all kinds of problems.  I have to be patient and vigilante and allow my Higher Power to do His work without interference from me.  I tend to worry over nothing. I tend to fear things when there is no need to.

When I was in detox, I found this book in the lounge and it was so absorbing, I got into it so much, that I took it home with me. Yea, I stole it am sorry to say but one of those things where I just had to have it no matter what lol.  Called "The 12 steps for everyone who really wants them"  which is the AA 12 steps adapted for EHA which is Emotional health anonymous.  This book opened my eyes to alot of different things mostly about how to open the communication link between me and God. It's not magic but just a different way of looking at things.
I just need to keep the 12 steps in mind and live by them everyday.  Then it will all work out :)
Hope you all have a great day!

Nice. You know, I have a theory that a good book has a will and a mind of its own. Sometimes it just calls out for liberation. That\'s probably what happened, LOL!

I have been very lucky throughout my life, too. Sometimes, it is just a tiny thing, but it was hug at the moment - a miracle. Keep dreaming and be open to new experiences. I have read that when we are uncomfortable or feel out of sorts, a change is about to happen. Either we create the opportunity, or it presents itself and we have a choice.

Our lives are adventures - there are so many wonderful people who contribute to our happiness.

Wishing you a great week.

Yep. God is in control. And patience is not one of my strong virtues :)
Let go and Let God. We will be OK, even better.

This is my (whatever you call it, \"slogan\") in my status bar: \"Don\'t plan. Be led.\" and it works, big time. Once you hear that inner locution (that still, small voice) - and you DO \"hear\" it - your life is changed forever. Just yesterday, He \"told\" me to do something that ended up answering a question I had asked Him minutes before. More dramatically, that \"voice\" saved my life once, I actually argued with it before listening to it and doing as He said. Had I not, I would have died on the New England Thruway, along with many others, because the full engine belt on my brand new Jeep was seizing. Don\'t plan. Be led. And listen, always.

Sometimes we all need a little/gentle reminder to appreciate what we have!
