goals

Over the winter, the snowplows made a mess of the edge of my lawn and dump lots of sand where it shouldn't be. I can't do too much because of my back problems so I set a goal to rake and pick up at least one large wheelbarrow or sand per day. This is the perfect time to do it in. Before black fly season comes in late april early may.  Hopefully, I will get the whole front of the lawn done before the bugs move in to town.
The other goal is to walk or jog a minimum of 2 miles per day.  Ideally, I would love to run some 5 K road races this summer.  But would like to improve on my time before I do.  My marathon running buddy from the '96th Boston 100th will run some with me, I am sure.  He hasn't been running but he works like a dog and I'm sure he is in shape to finish higher up then me even, he is naturally athetic.
Plus I have some painting to do and want to get that done before bug season as well so I will have a busy spring for sure!

Sounds like a good plan to get the lawn back in shape. Just be careful of the back! Work smart and don\'t overdo.
