update

I think I overdid it a little yesterday with the running. I ran 4 miles and later walked another 3 with my wife.
The baby is getting better....only had me up twice last night to go out. She has a unique way of letting me know when she has to go, she taps me on my back with her hind leg.  and they say Boston Terriers are not smart?  I think all dogs   are alot like humans, you just need to put yourself in there shoes to understand them.  A dog trainer told me that.  Alot of things we did in the past with trying to teach her just sent the wrong message but I think I have a pretty good idea now.
Last night we took her back to visit her real mom and dad.  The couple we bought her from offered to trim her nails for us.  I had been sending photos often.  They are a young couple, very nice and they love Bostons. They mentioned how big she is getting.  I nicknamed her Big Foot because she has large front paws for a Boston.
Hope to do a few miles today also.  Dr appt tomorrow.  Wife is liking her job a little better it seems but getting tired of the long travel.  I need to keep up with the maintainance with all that driving.  Will need to replace front tires soon and change the oil.  I just did the back breaks and used a breaker bar to put the tires back on. I didn't get the lug nuts tight enough, luckily, I noticed it a few days later when I drove the car into town to pick up a few things so as soon as I got home I tightened them up again with alot more pressure this time.  Used my feet to crank them an extra half turn. Good to go now!  I use to use my brother in laws garage. He had all the tools, compressor, impact wrench and everything a mechanic could possibly need but I am not allowed to use them anymore. Seems they have a few cats living in the garage and they don't want to disturb them. His wife who is my wife's sister, takes in all the strays which is good except I think you need to draw a line somewhere and put people first but ahh well. She is also the one who buys mass amounts of left over food from area butchers to feed to the eagles in the winter and other wild animals.  Thats why you see eagle photos on my profile.
OK time to go to work, I have a few orders to ship this morning.

I am glad your business is doing better! Scarey about the loose lug nuts as that could have been dangerous.
Wishing you a great week.

It is odd how each dog is different in communicating with us....my old dog would go to the door and bark. If that didn\'t get my attention she would bring me her leash. LOL Gunnar walks up and \"taps\" me with his nose. When I get up he heads to the door.

Glad the little one is getting better with the toileting - funny that Alexi is as well.......she is going most nights now without having any accidents :-) - she would bark in the night to let us know she wanted out, but then she went through a phase where she just wouldn\'t tell us, and just do it !!! oh well, getting there now.......Glad the work is going alright, take care and enjoy your baby :-)

Thank goodness you know how to fix cars! That is SO handy! And having the garage to use and the tools I am sure is a big help. I am so glad that things are getting better and work is picking up. Phew! That must take a load off of your mind. my 2 dogs are my children, for sure! It is so cool when they communicate in their way, with no words, and you understand what they are saying!
