update
I was kinda getting use to being alone when I received an email that our new dog was ready and we could go pick her up anytime. I would have prefered to wait one more day but I knew my wife wouldn't so I called her and let her know so of course she wanted to go get her.
I have owned 3 dogs in my life. Each one was different but each one had alot of character. I was afraid that I might compare this one to the last and that, I did not want to do. She is only 8 weeks old and I am sure she will grow and develop her own unique personality.
I remember our second dog died on halloween and out 3rd dog was born on halloween! Our new dog's name is precious and we were lucky to get her. Her parents belonged to a friend of a friend and at the time we called, all the pups were sold except one. Like we were meant to get her.
I went to the pharmacy the other day and the first thing the girl does is open the container of milkbones which we get for free everytime we go there. I had to tell her we lost our sweetie and she felt bad but I told her we had a pup coming and she asked me to bring her into the store, when we got her. Reminders of my sweetie hurt but the pain is getting less and less as time goes on.
I think I have said all I want to say for now. My brain is empty. Precious is sleeping at the moment. I don't remember but I think pups tend to sleep alot.

what ni ce story i rescued a pit/lab mix off the streets about 1 1/2 mths ago who was about 9 mo but things were not going well . he was aggressive,biting peeing/pooping in house alot wouldnt train to walk on leash ,jumping fence and getting rough w kids.tried so hard w training but w divorce and out of work didnt have the money and had to give him to a shelter tonite.havent stopped crying all nite. i know it was for the best but i wanted to find a rescue or a place that wont kill but all the rescues wont take pits here bc of recent attacks and people wont ad opt. i am so happy you were able to save a life i feel horrible about what i had to do.
