I questioned why I felt so bad to lose my dog and I think it's because they see us, touch us, hear us, and assume a portion of our personality so when she was gone, it felt like I lost a piece of myself.
I mean, animals die every day. I am not a hunter but deer, cows, sheep and other animals are sacrificed so we can eat and be clothed and yet we don't feel bad about them?  Just something I have been analyzing being the philisophical person I am.
But anyway, I am convinced her soul is in doggy heaven. The reason why I say this is because I asked God to give me a sign that she was happy and ok and in His Hands. Shortly after that I heard two strong loud knocks at the front door.  I opened the door and nobody was there. Something similar happened when we lost our other two dogs and I have heard of this happening to other pet owners!
