My wife is still taking my antidepressant which is ok but I am calling the doctor that she thinks has her medical records and will make an appointment. See, her own doctor retired over a year ago and he sent a list of 3 doctors who whould take over his patient load and she was suppose to pick one to receive her medical records and she said to me it's the one with the funniest name so thats the one I will call.
It's hard for me because I have to do everything to take care of her because she refuses to take responsibility for her own medical care. That way, she will have me to blame should something go wrong! But I am so use to this kind of behavior from her that it really doesn't bother me anymore, so I just do what I can to help being the helpful person that I am.
Thats about it for now.

It was fortunate that you had meds she could use although it is not good to take others meds....we do what we must do.
LOL I always said that is why my Hubby married me...so he had someone to blame for mistakes.
Hope that all works out for the best and your wife gets a great doctor to help her.
Thats too bad about your wife not taking responsibility for herself. But you are so very sweet for taking care of her even tho you have your own problems to deal with . I hope you do find her doctor and I hope she gets her own meds! Good luck with everything !
It is hard living with depression, but even harder to live with a partner having it too. I guess you are the stronger one.
I know this first-hand. My hubby (up until the last couple of months) has relied on me to handle all his medical. Now that he has to take blood pressure medicine, though, he is a little more proactive.
