Update
I just wanted to enlarge something I spoke about in my last post. My dad quit drinking later in life and apologized for the way he treated me and I forgave him. Then he died in a tragic accident at my house.
I just don't want anyone to think he was that way all his life because in the last few years of his life he treated me really good and I don't want anyone or anything to hold him back from wherever his travels take him in his afterlife.

Not sure why I wandered over this way (you know how it is on DS), but wanted to comment on this journal entry regardless. Mostly to respect your relationship with your dad. And thank you for sharing this.
