we had the worse weather ever yesterday.I was so scared..A twister passed right by my house.I mean like across the street,two lots down,and in the next subdivision.It was raining and hailing so bad.I wanted to leave but my husband said it was too dangerous to go outside so we waited it out..There was a horrible tragedy in our small community.This couple was in court yesterday over a restraining order and custody.They left here at 2:45 and when the lady got home her husband killed her and her daughter.He is being charged with 2 counts of murder..

YIKES - tornadoes frighten me like nothing else does. Their path is hard to predict. I am so relieved to hear that you are ok. Whenever the sirens go off here - I freak out - as the home I am currently in does not have a basement (in IN-you really do need a basement - the weather here can get a bit hairy. I think your weather is even a bit more turbulent in LA).
That is heartbreaking - about the guy who killed his wife and his daughter after a custody battle in court. The guy is a major a-hole! Why kill the child, too? I do not understand how people can hurt another living being.
What an incredible day - very shocking.
