Just got off the phone with Jamie on my normal 7 pm call, wow what a difference a day can make, he reports he is done with the three day chemo mix which is apparently the cyrabine (the strong stuff) he says he feels better then he has in quite a while, I reminded him how many prayer circles included him in their prayers , and perhaps what he was experiencing he answered maybe so!
Tomorrow I leave to go stay with him for the weekend, it will be good to see him , hoping he continues to feel good for a while.  Today was a good day!

Great to hear this -- there are going to be good days and bad days yet to come -- perhaps it is good that you ran into some rough roads early so you do no get your expectations up to high. I am glad that you seem to have settled into a schedule. He does not need 24x7 care -- in fact, they wake you up so many times at night that it is good just to have a few hours to take a nap. But that was me because I was always busy on the computer and just trying to stay awake because it tends to put you to sleep. Take care and stay positive -- talk about what you are going to do when he gets out. My wife always did that I thought she was nuts because I was not expecting to get out. But she was right and you will be too. -- dave
